During the week of Valentine’s Day, listeners of VOB 92.9 were encouraged to call in and share one tip that forms part of the Drivers’ Pledge. This promotion aimed to raise awareness about road safety and encourage the public to be more cautious while using the roads.
Listeners also had the chance to win Valentine’s Day prizes while promoting safe driving. Prizes included wines, chocolates, Co-op umbrellas, and $250 cash. Winners were presented with their prizes on Valentine’s Day.
